Wisdom Teeth Removal & Extraction

Combining modern techniques with compassionate care

Wisdom tooth removal, wisdom tooth surgery, and general tooth extractions are among the most common procedures Dr. Beech and Dr. Alistair Varidel perform. We understand patients’ concerns about painful or irritating wisdom teeth, whether they’ve erupted or remain below the surface.

Our pricing is completely transparent—surgical removal of all four wisdom teeth costs no more than $2,200. Please note that this price does not include hospital and anesthesia fees.

Comfort in Oral Surgery

Expert Oral Surgery Enhancing Orthodontic Results

Other problems commonly treated through oral surgery include exposure and bonding of impacted teeth and both skeletal anchorage and temporary anchorage devices (TADS) which assist and improve orthodontic outcomes.

To ensure patient comfort, we offer a suite of anaesthetic options including local anaesthetic, IV sedation and general anaesthetic. For these surgical procedures our Specialists work closely with your Orthodontic Specialist.

Frequently asked questions

Got questions about wisdom teeth or other oral procedures? We’re here to help.

While you may feel some pressure during the extraction, the procedure itself is not typically painful due to the local anaesthetic and sedation that is used. Some discomfort or soreness may occur afterward, but this can be managed with prescribed pain relief and aftercare instructions.

We understand that surgery is a significant investment which is why we offer flexible payment options to help make your treatment more accessible. We offer EFTPOS, major credit cards and providers such as Afterpay. Be sure to check your eligibility for rebates and health cover to help manage your health care expenses.

NOTE: For treatments under local anaesthetic, payment is due on the day of your procedure and for treatments involving IV sedation or general anaesthesia, payment is required 7 days before your appointment.

The recovery process is just as important as the surgery itself. After your wisdom tooth removal or oral surgery, we provide clear guidance on aftercare to help you heal quickly and comfortably.

Pain Management: We’ll provide you with a tailored pain management plan to ensure your recovery is as smooth as possible.

Healing Timeline: While every patient’s recovery is unique, most people are able to return to normal activities within a few days. Full recovery may take longer, depending on the complexity of your surgery.

Follow-Up Care: We’re here to support you through every stage of your recovery with follow-up appointments to check on your progress and ensure everything is healing well.

Yes, you can, but it is best to stick to soft foods for the first few days after your extraction and avoid chewing directly on the extraction site. However, we will provide detailed aftercare instructions to help you manage your recovery and ensure optimal healing.
